An Amplifier AND A Lawn Game

And sold at 1678.00, $25.00 profit, $20.98 after commissions. Just didn't feel right that it wouldn't move 4-5 points on the opening volume. I'll probably regret that, but better safe than sorry.

An Amplifier AND A Lawn Game

Bought ES-12 to cover at 1681.25 @ 5:56 AM. Profit $437.50 nominal, $433.48 with standard IB commission structure. That was a sweet trade. It went 10+ points without so much as a tick of adverse excursion. They won't all be that good :D This was a case where having to sleep cost...

    Is Demo account really helpful?

Demo accounts are VERY useful for new traders. Especially for strategies on the day & swing time frames. Shorter term, and the inaccuracies of the simulation may be too big. Longer term, and you won't get a big enough sample to mean anything. If you can't consistently make money in a demo...

ELON MUSK WARNS: A 'Tsunami Of Hurt' Is Coming For Anyone Betting Against Tesla

I'm starting to see them in the middle of the country too, even in more average income areas.

    Why do traders fail?

What's amazing about this data is how BAD the averages are - these traders are losing 7-15 pips on average per trade depending on pair. That means you could reverse their signals, eat the spread and slippage, and STILL make solid money. This is actually one of the clearest contradictions of...

Will PC trading software migrate to ipad?

Since what I do is daytrade futures, that may be where some of my bias comes from, although I'm not that big on the DOM. But I've seriously though about buying one of those new 4K 50" TVs and using that as my monitor. Basically a quad display setup without the need for a rack. But I'm...

Will PC trading software migrate to ipad?

I can't imagine any trading software that would run on an iPad would be software I'd want to use. Just the absence of a high quality keyboard (and thus keyboard shortcuts) would be basically fatal. Plus of course no wired networking, which is pretty much a requirement for a reliable...

    Did you graduate from college?

Statistics and calculus are pretty important skills for a trader, and in general are only taught in a rigorous way in college. Anyone who doesn't go is going to have a lot of self study ahead of them.

    Why do traders fail?

The big issue is a lack of skill - they don't know how to do anything the market is willing to pay money for. Generally speaking the market pays for two things: correct prediction of future price, and arbitrage. if you don't have one of those two skills, you aren't getting paid.
