Are there any other companies that offer a partnership model like the Cutler Group?

I did get an offer from a MM firm (ex traders from the company I used worked for) but I think I can make more for myself as an independent trader. Obviously I run the risk of not making any money or not enough to cover my costs but, it is something I want to try.

Yes, I would need to hire/partner with someone to be in the pit and we would need to be giving each other continuous feedback.

Thanks for the input. The concern I have with the ES is that a large chunk of the S&P volume goes through on the pit. Now, not only do I have a speed problem, I could even get arbitraged against the pit.

I understand that it will be very difficult to compete with my old firm and their competitors. I do know that there are differences between MM options on bonds and stirs vs indices, fx...

I am looking to MM options on liquid underlying where most of the volume are traded on the screen. However, I do understand that I will be competing with faster players so I will be considering the potential pick-offs vs liquidity.

I used to work for an options market making firm. I am looking to start a firm which will market make options. There seems to be many people willing to back futures strategies but are there any companies that are willing to seed option MMs? Any advice would be appreciated.
