Yeah, I tend to agree with Covert. But it really all depends on the way you trade. If trading the pit contract is working for you, then that's the way to go. Whatever works. I was just curious as to the reasoning of it.

I trade futures, mainly scalping for a few ticks at a time. If you look at my blotter, the buy and sell qty. are my total round turns for the day. I average around 100-150 contracts/day. I trade very small size.

Wow I can't believe you went through the hassle of doing that. Honestly, with all the money going around in the markets, I can't believe people have a hard time believing your numbers. Geez, I sit in a room with some guys that spend close to 100k/month on commissions alone.

mk I was just wondering why you choose to live in NC? Did you grow up there? With what you do for a living, you can live just about anywhere. I've never been there, so I'm just curious. I find it funny that some people have a hard time believing someone can pull 100k/month out of the market.

Finally got the blotter captured.

I've seen one on the road. Very small looking.

+927.50 today. I figured out how to capture my blotter now, so I will post it starting tommorrow.

I'm gonna start posting my results. I tried to do the print screen capture method of my blotter, but I can't get it to work. Anyways, my results are no where near as good or as consistent as most ppl posting here, so it probably doesn't matter. I trade futures in any market that moves around...

So do you trade with commissions at their cost? If they truly were not interested in commission generation, you would trade at cost. There are a few futures shops where you can trade at cost, but I didn't think DE was one of them. I'm not saying it's not a quality shop.

I use esignal. I don't think it's a constant delay. The eurex feed has just acted up a few times in the last couple months which resulted in a delay for short periods of time. You can check the forums on the esignal website for more info.

Does anybody know anything about being a floor broker on the NYSE? What do they do? How much do they make? Salary? Bonus? Is it easy to make contacts to find other related jobs in the industry from there? Do you think floor brokers will be around for long with the trend of everything going...
