My time frame on the July 125 puts would be like 2 days or so. I must admit that the short side seems pretty risky and that is why I decided to wait until monday morning to see what happened over the weekend, just in case some rumor comes out that they sold over a million phones over the weekend.

I was seriously looking at getting long the Apple July 125 puts Friday afternoon, but was too scared that it might gap up on monday if they sold a million iphones over the weekend. I probably missed a good opportunity, but will look the get long the puts on monday morning.

I used Friday to sell my VLO calls. I ended up giving back some profits, I had more than tripled my money, but it was only doubled after the big give back. I guess that I got a little greedy. Thanks for the post and responses though.

Seems like 74.68 was the high for this week, then it fell back some. Maybe next week. I think that I will hold on to the June 65 calls til next wednesday or so...see if I can get a little more out of them. Anyone else still holding the underlying?

I decided to hang onto my Valero June 65 calls, thinking that Valero may go to 75 or so before the end of the coming week, if there is another decrease in gasoline inventories. I am really curious as to what price targets others on this board see for this stock between now and the end of May.
