Stocks with a large percentage of Institutional Investors

I don't think that number is important. A stock will still tumble with daytraders and with big instituitions it takes a while to liquidate all that stock when they do they plunge the stock further so why even bother at all... Most likely they'll just absorb the bad news unless it's something huge.

    Stop Losses

This strategy actually doesn't have too many sudden extreme moves on the unexpected side so I really don't have much to worry about. I am just deploying stop losses anyways mainly for convenience. Using a trade simulator average loss 3% or less out of 200 trades. Biggest was 10%. Without using...

    Stop Losses

Ok thanks... Would be nice to find a broker that allows that. Would save me a lot of time! Edit: Just took a look into this broker I am gonna use seems to have a leg up when it comes to making multiply different orders in one. Conditional orders allows traders to place an order and then if...

    Stop Losses

I prefer stop losses since my strategy requires tight stops where I am in multiply positions. If it moves away from my expectation I get out immediately for a small loss. Saves me a lot of time maintaining them.

    Stop Losses

Wait, not sure I am getting you right? So you can put a stop loss order without having any shares of the stock?

    Stop Losses

Just a few quick newb questions... Can you put a stop loss at the same time of a buy or short order or can you only make one after you own the stock? What happens if you make 2 stop losses for the same stock would the highest one automatically get cancelled? Does it mess with your buying...

    Missed opportunities

Been there before. My worse one was a 400% intraday gain on a single stock. I sold it too soon at a loss than it just kept climbing from there. Was too chickened out into chasing and ofc by the time I finally decided to jump in again it was already too late.

    4-1 leverage?

I won't unless it's something I am completely sure of or has a super good risk to reward.

    4-1 leverage?

Tradezero. Did some research on them and they're legit is just that they're relatively new and their platform has some bugs. However, they don't allow US residents. (Which is fine by me thou since I am Canadian.)

    4-1 leverage?

-With $25,000, you can have up to $100,000 in buying power (BP) that day. -BP is set each night before you start trading. Trading profits don't affect BP until the next day. Ok cool, so I don't have to worry about using max leverage everytime. Not saying that I'll thou.

    4-1 leverage?

-To daytrade, you need $25,000 in a Reg-T account that morning before you trade. I am aware of that. But they're non-us brokers out there that give 4:1 on $1000 deposit.

    4-1 leverage?

If I daytrade can I always use the max leverage on orders without worrying about margin call or settlement delay assuming I don't lose money on any of those transactions? Example. With $1000 My first trade is $4000. I profit $1000. With $2000 balance my next trade is $8000 and so on.

    Free Trading, no PDT !

One thing I don't quite understand is if the limit order fills immediately within 1 sec than it's not free. So my question is you cannot put a limit order on the exact ask or bid or would 1 sec still go by? Seems pretty inconvienent for momentum stocks rallying or on big news since you've hope...

    Trading: Exhausting!!

When you 1st start trading there is so much information you're trying to gather. There was so much to learn, so much I didn't know and I was very impatient about it. Even now I still haven't developed a solid timetested strategy for myself so I am always gathering info or trying to figure out...
