    Question for Cayman Island traders

IB would work fine for that purpose, but your citizenship and corporate structure is the bigger issue. Legitimate offshore structures do well to domicile in the Caymans.

    Pyramiding into a trend

Price, Volume, and Time. If they sing the Right song, then sing along. Yeah I pyramid. But not until the story begins to unfold correctly.

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

If OJ doesn't normally back and fill then this is certainly indicative of a dead-cat for it. Of course, lots of stuff has broken hard in the last few days.

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

His fund is rebalanced annually to keep the oil component from overwhelming it. Not sure how it would perform net of that. He is well capitalized enough now to sit for years and try to capture these really long moves. I don't doubt that its very difficult for most of us to replicate this...

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

Thanks for the reply on the oj options. I may just wait for a pullback and start looking at the straight contracts for a long. Coffee is backing nicely in here. Might be a reasonable place to add for a long term futures play down here around .70 or so. Frankly I'd rather hold any...

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

Congrats on that, as I recall you saying it was a good proxy on coffee a long time back. Is anyone here selling OJ puts yet? A bit ballsy yet I suppose with the trend, but it seems as if we are close. Are there any stocks well exposed to an increase in the price of juice which someone here...

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

Seems to me the low-carb fad is fading. Several substantial marketing efforts undertaken by the fairly deep-pocketed Florida Growers Assoc. are now launched, and the chart says this below cost product might get some traction now. Anybody else seeing a bottom in this area?

Here's a link to the decapitation video

Been done. If you wanna look hard enough on the web you can find evidence that coalition forces are killing innocents in cold blood. As El Cubano would say: One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Enjoy the spin put on all this ultra-conservative non-church/state separation...

you perma-bears might be early doesn't imply you're wrong. Asia is much lower tonight. Some unwinding going on. Could get ugly as stimulus proves unstimulating. Where are the ET perma-bulls?

He must be good. When he paid for sponsorship on ET Baron deleted a very informative series of posts by Green. He must be great.

Everyone thinks the world is ending!

Just ask Gov. Schwartze.....how do you spell it? Steroids have consequences. I'm sure he wasn't thrilled about his open-heart surgery to repair damaged valves. The Fed is gonna have to pay the piper too. Now that their juice has run its course we can drop au natural, the way nature...

POLL: What if New York is nuked?

Governments that ask citizens to spy on each other should never be trusted. Maverick are you certain you weren't trained for this behaviour in a communist country, because it sure smacks of that. We don't need you to protect us from Candle, or his scary speech thank you very much. Perhaps...

    Atlernative energy stocks

If Bush is behind it you can be sure it will maintain the status quo by only looking at "oily" hydrogen sources. Am I wrong?

    Tax Havens

Thanks for the detailed reply. I've wondered about that for some time after discussing it superficially with a Canadian in Freeport. Really that is a sane and logical way to handle the issue, unlike the imperialistic and controlling American policy of taxing anywhere, anytime, and for any reason.

    faux energy crisis redux?

This Supreme Court appeal with regard to the Cheney meetings says it all in my opinion. The fox is guarding the ole henhouse. All governments are corrupt. All you can do is fight for transparency, but most citizens don't seem to care.

    Tax Havens

Problem I had when considering the Bahamas, and I seriously considered it, is the cap on the foreign earned income exclusion for Americans. Because of the higher cost of living in the Islands you have to make considerably more money to mainain your living standard than stateside. However, if...

Getting into daytrading and starting with Echotrade questions??

What's the big deal on the "sponsorship"? All they do is sign a form. It costs them nothing and you probably pay the test fee. They were my first firm, and paid for the test also. I signed nothing. That's not meaningful sponsorship. I mean if they put you up in an apartment in Cairo and...

Getting into daytrading and starting with Echotrade questions??

I think Echo is a good firm. They'll treat you fine, better than most. Don't however sign a contract. If they want you to learn with them and grow with them then fine, but you'll give them you're pound of flesh through commish and no contract is needed. Good luck.

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

As an aside, does anyone here (Blue Horseshoe) have any advice on selling options on these futures? I know nothing about futures options but am intrigued by the idea.
