I just started with this software today, and id hafta say...HELP!!!!! to be honest i think the prosper pro they use at swift trade is better than this software! i hate it, but i gotta use it....sooooo anyone out there have the patience to go through setting up keys with me =D n yes ive...

first day trading FT with a prop firm....and trying to figure out this software... had a lot of issues with the software not working in the morning so missed out. hope to get everything straight for tommorow.

im a total newbie, but heres my take. before entering into a position i usually know what size im going to trade and what risk im willing to take so i feel that it isnt wise to average down, but if your building up your position as a whole when the market goes against you it is different...

had a tough day as well...

only had one trade... missed my entry on what would have been a nice trade, so didnt trade anything else :D

i agree that finding the right trading size is very important....that is why i started this thread...

interesting stuff anyone comment on size shares they trade? do you guys set goal targets per day for yourselves, or you juss let it ride...and only have loss limits...

im just curious....whats the average trade size you profitable traders trade and how should i know what size i should be trading? also i know every trade is different but, what type of winners are you looking for before entering a trade? .10, .20, .50 +? im talking about day trading here...

does sterling pro allow you to have trailing stops or stop limit orders?

curious in hearing your response as well. i live in mississauga, and am looking at which other firm other than swift is available.
