So, are you saying that the heads=long, tails=short strategy has a negative expectancy? If that were true, we could simply reverse the rule to get a positive expectancy! Suppose we reduce this to a really simple level for you. Imagine there is only one possible outcome i.e. the market goes up...

If you go bust in the short run, you are still bust in the long run and you don't beat 95% of traders. Expectancy is breakeven minus costs only when the probability of going bust is vanishingly small. You need a large trading account in addition to your big pile of coins. :)

I tried using mental stops, but my broker still takes them out. What gauge of tin foil are you guys wearing? I'm thinking mine is perhaps not thick enough to protect my stops.

It looks like just another "how to trade forex" course. I wish I could come up with this sort of crap. There's loads of money in it.

1) You need to find brokers that consistently give off-market quotes and let you trade them. Good luck with that. 2) You need to overcome two spreads plus slippage. 3) You may need to move money between accounts to avoid margin calls. This adds further costs that need to be overcome...
