    I'm suprised no one has suggested trading futures,certainly 5k is a good start with Ib and say something relatively smooth like ZF...maybe ER2 although I dont have experience with it..

    Tango, Have you ever thought about having a "tick" goal rather than $$? I'm thinking about having a reasonably attainable goal say 3 ticks or so and than just increasing size as the account grows.

    I'm a rookie,so take it for what it's worth..But what if the top 10% aren't making "huge money'' maybe the top 1-2% are but what if the top 10% are just profitable...not losing money..I think you you may have been saying the same thing ...just my 2c
