Ability to adapt as a personal trait

I don't really understand "adapting" so much a skill, but more a biological and intellectual form of growth. All of us at some point in time had to change in order to learn how to trade. In my understanding we all had to adapt in our personal journey. When we started trading, none of us knew...

    The power of Giving.

You make a valid point. On another level, a farmer plants corn. Is the farmer bargaining with natures elements that produce a crop? Something to consider. Just as there are laws of nature to produce a crop of corn, there are other laws that can also produce. I do appreciate your insight.

    The power of Giving.

Yesterday I turned 58 years old. I'd like to share what I believe is one of the most effective systems for future success in health, wealth and relationships. It does not take a mensa level IQ to profit in the trading business. If it did, I'd definitely still be driving a truck for a living...

His request is for spread trading. Swing is just a time frame reference. I run spreads using treasuries using a longer time. (months)

    Tai Lopez NFTs. Haha!

I agree with your assessment about Mr Lopez. I only use the term "consummate"as someone who's not inept at his trade. His trade is to convince the unwary of dubious products and services. Also, I'm definitely not poor.

I use Tradovate. One of the easiest platforms along with dirt cheap margin requirements. I also use TradeStation for charts.

    Tai Lopez NFTs. Haha!

Tai is a consummate salesman. I suspect over the years he's made a boatload of money convincing people they can get rich by buying what he's selling.

    Charts For No Reason

I use two strategies. One is a time based strategy that does not use volume, or any indicators. I use it for both stocks and futures.. The only difference with futures is I use a 30 minute time frame. You can peruse my time based strategy at this link...

Ex-Banker : ,,Industry That Rewards Psychopaths''

Unfortunately our lethargic Justice system is ethically compromised and more corrupt than Al Capone. Pigs will fly and sing yankee doodle dandy before any legitimate investigation is mounted for any nefarious Ukraine business deals pulled from that laptop. This is world we live in now.

Oh I like that. Sometimes all it takes is a simple technique to keep us on track. A second voice and/or script is similar to a trading coach over our shoulder on every trade. I even have one mp3 where dragon calls me the N-word with a few choice expletives when I make a mistake. My gawd, I would...

Hi easymon1, the dragon represents motivational inspiration. I use recorded positive statements that are voiced through the dragon as I'm trading.

New York’s First NFT Restaurant to Open in Times Square This Year

What's more conducive to attaining wealth? A. A negative attitude of disdain towards the affluent. B. A positive attitude of admiration towards the affluent. Just my honest opinion, but there may be biases and beliefs that predispose some to never escape mediocity. Until said beliefs are...

Ability to adapt as a personal trait

What if a trader sets rules and consistently breaks his own rules? Would it be of any benefit to try something that might help him to change? Is consistent profits just a matter of setting rules and then making sure we keep our rules? I think that may be true for a small minority, but there's...

Ability to adapt as a personal trait

The ability to adapt is also a condition that can be developed with a structured cognitive behavior transformation program, like NLP or meditation.

Should we look at recent price action behavior to forecast direction?

Hi Concinnity, I really do understand your explanation. Of course with all things trading, what works for one may not work with another. I think my past experience with back testing made me susceptible to relying on the past without a constant appraisal of present price movements. I do much...
