    hmm.no edges in the markets

That was not the point I was making. Surf claimed 99% of traders lose, I merely showed him proof of that not being the case even for retail forex traders. In fact at Interactive Brokers, 46% of the retail forex traders are profitable. So in this case Surf was clearly wrong. If he isn't even...

The minimum deposit at Interactive Brokers (host of about a fifth of all US retail forex accounts) was $10K last time I checked. Is that a "micro account"? Are you inventing numbers again? Please post a reference that verifies this claim. Thanks.

    hmm.no edges in the markets

Get your facts right. In the US there are 100543 retail forex accounts (Q2 2013). About 35% (average over all brokers) of these are profitable. Traders at Interactive Brokers stand out where more than 46% of the accounts show a profit. FXCM had the least number of profitable traders, only...

This from a guy that asks programming questions on a traders forum. You're as opinionated as is Marketsurfer. Interesting that you both took the blue pill.

You have also demonstrated that the PDs are useless and no better than random entries. They are actually worse than random entries since in your belief system all you need is money management to profit from a random entry.

Surf, please stop talking to yourself again. wrbtrader was making the point that you promote and get financial compensation from vendors that sell TA courses while bashing the very same method here at ET. How do you think that affects your credibility?

tiddlywinks - This is a great thread. Please don't have it closed because of the trolls. You trade several different futures markets (financials, softs etc) - do you need to adjust your method between markets (as in "do they behave different or have different personalities")?

Wrong... in those types of accounts you are entitled to the fees you have agreed upon with your client (through a POA for example). Most likely performance based, you only get paid for new equity highs.

Yet you promote your friend Alla Peters who see "unique price patterns in price waves" and charges a newbie $6700+ to learn how to do that? You are an affiliate, what is your cut if they sign up for her mentoring through your site?

Is that in actual trading or affiliate marketing?
