If you read the Forbes article, it clearly states that the feds have been pursuing a civil forfeiture claim against PokerStars.

What is her "proprietary trading info"? Is she marketing something to which she has claimed exclusive legal right?

Read the indictment. The guy is a tool and was likely put in charge to serve as a buffer for the other owners in case the operation ran afoul of the law. Looks like Ferguson and Lederer are also up shit creek. The feds should go after every owner who benefited from the distributions until all...

    1. Good luck with the trade. 2. That's fairly generous. Considering you open your event to strangers from this site, I give you credit for having a lot of class. Cheers.

The stock has at least another leg short (resumption). Not saying 699 won't be reached before the resumption, as the day ended in a pennant (lateral). The least risky tactic would have been to enter short on a BO+FBO on the pennant above 701. If you get a gap up above the pennant tomorrow at the...

Well you don't know a thing about me then. I'm as indecent as they cum and everything I think and do is subjective. But I do appreciate your appreciation. Obviously the best way to find out the actual policy is for TST to chime in. Under your reading, a trader can make $30K profit...

I wasted my life and read that too the other night when I could have been really living and shined my shoes. In any case, where does that paragraph say you get 80/20? I included the funding table in my post to you. There's this little tab on the left that says "ACCOUNT CUSHION" that you might...

You need to waste a bit more of your life and read the funding agreement carefully. The profit split is 60/40 to start. To get to 80/20 you have to keep the $30K in the account as a cushion.

Don't you need to keep $30K of your profits in the account to get the 80/20? And isn't that $30K your max "drawdown"? That means only you can lose money in that deal for the privilege of a 20% haircut. Yeah, that sounds like no-risk extra capital alright...for the firm!

LOL....C'mon, man, I asked a simple question regarding a reply that you posted to me earlier that I didn't understand at the time. Let's not get all philosophical about how posting on this site is wasting time. Of course it's wasting time, but it's the middle of the night and I'm up anyway. My...

I didn't get your reference to the "$30,000 real-money gains" until just now after reading the funding requirements on the TST site. I was in error in my post to you about the assumed 80/20 split which is the case only after $30K in profit is accumulated in the account. The starting split is...

How much higher? The $150K is not as relevant as the contract limits. Still, 15 to 20 contracts with no activity minimum and an 80/20 split is not a bad deal at all. The key is the no activity minimum.

Get paid to trade. What could be better for a person without an account of his own? I wouldn't leave much of my profits in their hands, though. If you know what I mean, heh.

No doubt it is in these guys' interest to periodically cut checks to people in order to keep the regulators at bay.

Let me ask a pertinent question that might help the combiners out a bit. The question is, how many days do you think the stock indices will retrace? Count today as day 1.

    Day trading difficulties

Once you get past the hyperbole in that article it does reveal a truth: in a month there are a few days when the market offers "free money." Of course, free money is only one side of the coin and the opposite side is "sure loss." There cannot be one without the other.

IOW, marketstuffer is BE vis-a-vis other traders and generates a shitload of commissions that his marginal trading cannot...

    Question for TA Experts

Hi Jack, how are you? I was being facetious but I probably could have been clearer. How do you measure a day's volatility in the cash market ($SPX, as in that chart)? I don't know about you, but for me I would use actual intraday data where the market traded. That chart shows the beginning of a...
