I know that my my broker is echanging money at the spot market, and that I exchange on the second hand spot echange as I open positions through my broker.

Well it is not the spot market, since my broker is www.forex.com

yes the spread on gbpjpy is 9 and for eurojpy 4

IM thinking of shorting gbp/jpy, still undecided though.

I closed the position now at 1.7610 20 pips profit. which gave me 200 dollar And I had 1800 dollar in my account, so the return on this trade was: 11% :D we will wait for the next move now.

I changed my tp now to undecided, but Ive made 9 pips so far on this trade :D

Tp is now confirmed and set at 1.7620.

Stop loss is at 1.7645 My tp might change though, as I look at how the price change behaves.

New order for GBP/USD Limit order sell 1.7636 TP around 1.7602

I just closed my GBP/USD position at 1.7624 I went short at 1.7630 and the spread is 5, so I gained 1 pip Ive no position open right now, and I will wait before I make my next move. Im glad I did that, because Now, one minute after my close, it went up to 1.7631

So how many pips do you manage to get after you have been drinking some strong coffee? Im sure you wont be relaxed either if I spank you..

Actually Im intending on doing something very bold and adventerous. Im intending on investing all 8000 dollar ive just got from a lending institute to fund my studying today. And buy 6 lots on a pair that I think will give me about 100 pips. Im still undecided :D

Usually when I scalp, I use 50% of my account worth as margin, with 200:1 leverage. My stop losses are only 5 pips though, so I cant lose more than about 4% of my account worth on each trade. Im usually aiming at 8 pips.

By the way, I feel greatly sorry for the thread athour, so could we please be back on topic?
