where can i find historical max pain data

I was wondering if anyone knows a free sight where you can find historcal data (preferably daily) on max pain and put/call info for individual stocks. CBOE is useful for large index put/call ratios, but i haven't been able to find the same data for individual stocks.

Cracked: One of the Biggest Wall Street Insider-Trading Rings

"Talk about raising suspicion. But what bugs me is that the brokers noticed these profitable trades and mirrored them. What's to stop ANY broker from copying a successful trader?" I remember brokers used to call me and say, "I noticed you have been trading x, y, and z on your account..." I...

    short fear

ok, so there were a bunch of signs that a local top was in place, and today validated that with an early drop. But, for the shorts, I have to say I have lingering painful memories of PPT rescues with enormous short squeeze volume by EOD, whenever the market was on the precipice of a black hole...

5% of traders that make money

"This is why we teach our people to trade on the same side as the Specialist " There is something so zen about this kind of statement. Like, always trade with the axe. That would be great if you knew who the axe was. LII makes it impossible to discern real buyers/sellers, even on volume. COT...

    Aapl

tons of blog sites have been shorting this lately. Unfortunately, it appears that the large volume spike on the left was not distribution. MMs did a lot to shake out longs the last two weeks, adding to the short fuel. Now it's time to shake the shorts for a while.

WHY is Elliott Wave supposed to work?

"makes perfect sense when EW is is looked at from its mathematical foundation of Golden Ratios and Fibonacci numbers." Interesting how many people try to make the case that EW is somehow tied to a mathematical basis due to fib ratios. There are no fixed rules in EW related to fib boundaries...

WHY is Elliott Wave supposed to work?

"golden ratio was not due to crowd psychology " the golden ratio is not due to crowd psychology. EW attempts to fit crowd psychology to the golden ratio. The golden ratio is a universal constant that organic growth tends to follow. Pretcher writes all about that relationship ad nasaum in his...

WHY is Elliott Wave supposed to work?

I've studied all the books on EW. And ultimately, it's very subjective. The truth is that the market's behavior is not fully random nor is it systematic, it is chaotic and fractal, and that is about the extent that I agree with EW theory (Chaos theory is objective as mandlebrot followers know)...

Looks like the market's voting that a 40% Q-Q gain is pretty good. Along with good guidance that is.

    Aapl

Apple has just turned around on large volume spike. Hammer bounced off daily channel support. If hammer holds at end of day, a lot of heavy short sellers could be squeezed shortly. Seems like a good entry pt. with channel stop in place. JMHO

    Short Ratio

From investopedia.com, "Short-Interest Ratio The short-interest ratio is the number of shares sold short (short interest) divided by average daily volume. This is often called the "days-to-cover ratio" because it tells, given the stock's average trading volume, how many days it will take short...

I guess if they figured google couldn't serve as the volume catalyst for tommorrow's squeeze continutation, dell would have to do. Of course google not getting too hammered.

Shifting Bubbles: What Will The Next Bubble Be?

I know of nano applications in chemicals, robotics, biotech, materials... There is going to be BOOM in all of them. A little bit more boom in robotics than probably chemicals and biotech. ----------------------------------------------- Add to that stem cell r&d, as well as...

If so many people are unsuccessful traders...

" blaming genius market makers" market makers are not geniuses. If you or I had full access to order flow and clients accounts, we too would be geniuses. It's called an edge. Granted a systematic style gives you better odds, but you better believe they have the edge. And back to the...

interesting article today on increasing edge of brokerage houses. http://biz.yahoo.com/cbsm/070129/5d3626dc318249a6abeabbd5171c3142.html "Quant-investing BGI style requires a fluency in applied mathematics as well as access to the prodigious computing power needed to continuously crunch...
