    Confessions of a successful trader

Awesome Trade StLous. If this market can bounce should be cake. Regardless looks like you won't get stopped.

    Charts for use,

If you use Tick charts then your best bet is IQfeed. If not just use your brokers feed. You've been trading for 10 years and are still learning?

    Confessions of a successful trader

My problem with that is what if shit goes haywire early on (which it usually does). I have many times averaged into a position just like you near the open only for things to go so bad so fast that I take a much bigger loss then anticipated. One of my "holy grails" of trading is that I only...

    Confessions of a successful trader

The reason I ask is because it almost sounds like you don't have a well defined stop. I don't "ask myself over and over again" about my positions but I will bail out if I realize that it things have changed. Based on the spike reversals in the markets this morning and the selloff from the...

    Confessions of a successful trader

Question1: If you were flat right now would you want to get long Oracle? Question2: If the answer to number 1 was no are you a good enough trader to get out?

    I'm Assuming

Well.... there's being right and there's being RIGHT. I can't believe we didn't squeeze through the highs like nothing?!?! Winning some is better then losing but I am surprised there wasn't another leg higher.

    I'm Assuming

Damn!!!! You must have some outrageously high standards for taking a trade!!!! I posted during the dip at 3:07. I don't think it gets better than that.

    I'm Assuming

    I'm Assuming

According to my chart 1066.75 is the first target that will likely be hit today!!!

    I'm Assuming

Nope.... best to buy. Just like you said earlier. Momentum takes time to stop. Especially on a day like today. ADD's Still at 1800+ with 40 minutes left. Only one way to go. Up!!!!

Only I can pick the top: Short 1049 ES

You sound like a wise trader. I am not being facetious. I only come on these boards for pure entertainment purposes... to watch the suckers (who trade for fun) getting burned... and to make top/bottom calls!!!! Cause I love seeing time and time again how impossible they are.

Only I can pick the top: Short 1049 ES

I've made my fair share of top/bottom calls on ET. I think the reason people like to make them is because they are so difficult to make money on that when you see some signs of a logical turning point instead of losing money and taking that trade you hit the internet and go for message board...

I just spoke to ASUS technical support (I have Rampage Formula motherboard) and they said the battery is used even when the pc is turned on!! So it's probably a bad battery. Thanks the suggestions from everyone.

    Windows XP Clock Losing Time

The CMOS battery only comes into play when the computer is turned off. My computer loses time when the machine is on.

    Windows XP Clock Losing Time

Thanks for all the suggestions. Chronos seems to have fixed the issue but shouldn't I be worried that Windows can't keep time. I keep my trading machine in pristine condition. Don't know how this happened.

    Windows XP Clock Losing Time

I'm not sure about the BIOS losing time.

    Windows XP Clock Losing Time

I noticed about a week ago that my windows clock is losing time. I leave my PC running and it loses time so it is not the CMOS battery. I have tried syncing the time to both time.windows.com and time.nist.gov but after syncing it quickly begins losing time. I can easily tell that time is...
