IMHO, I think I have a better than 50% average because I have a long list of things I've tried that didn't work. I see a situation that failed before and remember it, and try to do the opposite. Ingrained pain avoidance. :)

Sold my SCO for a mind boggling 6% after holding it two days. I needed that after the AVH debacle. If a stock drops, I (should) sell it quickly. If a stock rises slowly, I should sell it slowly. If a stock jumps, I should jump to sell it. Finished out July nicely ahead. Now I'm waiting.

Well damn. I held AVH too long hoping for a turn around. Took a loss and sold. Market feels like it wants to turn, which is playing hazard with long positions. Going to have to re-think my exit strategy to get out quicker next time.

Sold TASR for $28.07, which is about even after trading costs. It's struggling to move up.

People aren't as scared to spend money as they used to be.

TASR keeps on giving. AVH is on a major tear right now. I'm liking this.

Still in. TASR seems to have definitely resumed it's run. AVH bounced off it's moving average. Glad I stayed in. AVH was interesting because when it dropped, the volume became a trickle. It's like nobody wanted to sell at lower prices at all. So far, so good.

Still in TASR and AVH. TASR is doing nicely. AVH hasn't triggered my sell signal yet and I'm trying to be disciplined on it's down day. Still acts like it's in an uptrend, so I'll follow my system. TASR seems to have confirmed that it is resuming its glorious upward move.

Hmmm...doesn't seem to affect it. Candle is still in position with the trend though, which is progress toward.

So... what kind of pop does a puff piece like this generate? Or does it? I really want to know. Came out after the close...

Thanks. The thing about TASR is that it bobbled last week(congestion) and then it jumped solidly today (almost 3%)...looks like a breakout to me, and the candle fits so well with the previous trend too. Seems like price got ahead of itself for about 5 days, and now it will resume its upward...

Added TASR at 28.04. Nice trend, good growth, and the political environment is favorable. Please understand it also tripped my favorite holy grail method also, but I favored this one over a few others.
