FutureScalper I totally agree. As a Future DayTrader for (10+years), I wonder how successful the people on ET that think its gambling or don't understand ROI.

IB can do what it wants as we can do what we want by going to another Broker if it make business sense:D

There must be some other reason for any successful futures daytrader to trade at IB when they could get "professional" rate (margins and commissions) at any number of Chicago's future trading firms.

If you trade future why not have the server at your future's broker where you can get 10 -100 millisec response:confused:

I am a programmer, so, I've taken protective measures. No source code of course. However if you trade through them they know your position for risk management purpose. As a programmer I know you can do all most anything if they really want to. It still would be difficult form them to front run you.

I've been doing this for the last year with an astonishing level of success. I use two separate trading accounts consolidating them at the end of the day.

I found that any language is ok as long as it can handle multi-threads. I use C++.net

You mean that you can get the demo system to work?? the bid and ask seem to work ok with the delay, but the last seem to get constantly stuck!!
