Just wish that Lightspeed would allow more customization of hot keys. They hard code a lot of keys and makes it slower for my way of trading (scalping)

if all else fails, you can always try the usb adapter. i don't have any problems using it for trading.

when you say over time, what is the length of time are you talking about? most traders don't keep trading pc's for more than three years. i don't know a lot about ssd's but i'm going to assume that they should last that long.

Which of these firms do NOT require a one year lock up? That's a dealbreaker for most experienced guys (of course, not all).

If you go with a 24" lcd, go with the 1920 x 1200 res. The extra real estate is valuable to me. I wish I can get more :)

I don't think you mean 100% comms rate since you are a trader not a broker. I think you mean 100% performance based since I believe that they don't even pay you 100% payout of the profits. In any case, you should be more concerned if they have a training program. I know a couple traders...

I know that some traders are very technically savvy but I'm not and don't really have the time. My fear is to make a mistake and waste valuable time trying to rectify it. So, I'm in the camp that would always buy and get the tech support. I'd rather pay 1-2k more than to spend hours ordering...

There are 15" laptops that have the 1920x1200 res. I use one now and it's much lighter than the 17".

Why isn't it good for manual traders? Are there problems with the front end?
