Which Republican Candidate will be best for our economy?

Not entirely correct. Furthermore, aside form this article, Obama added the war into the budget, which Bush hid under discretionary spending. "In a spirited and unscripted debate with the House GOP, President Barack Obama said Republicans were wrong to portray him as running up large...

Which Republican Candidate will be best for our economy?

None, since the markets lead economic recovery. You want the markets to be happy, which by the way gives pension funds better returns and enables them to cover their retirees. Not to mention the 401K's of millions of working Americans. Any republican elected will freak out the markets, austerity...

What kind of crap is this and why is it on a trader's site? Bullets? Man, you need to watch your mouth.

    The DESTRUCTION of trading volume.

This is all very silly. There is plenty of volume for daytraders, especially in futures. Just find your market, oil works great these days and there will ALWAYS be volume in currencies. Traders always need to find excuses for under-performance.

    The DESTRUCTION of trading volume.

What does it have to do with Obama? Weird. So you're saying the rising volume under Bush was thanks to him? Then the huge volume in the drop of 2008 was his as well. In any case. leave politics out of this, it only makes you look very unsophisticated. Volume is down because retail investors have...

Are you watching futures tick chart ?

I don't bother with tick charts because there is more thrust potential in assessing time cycles during the day. If you are going to trade for minor scalps (and try and compete with far greater powers than you at that small level of move), your reward vs energy expended is just not worth it, IMHO.

Are you watching futures tick chart ?

Making simple decisions more and more complex by going smaller and smaller only leads to marginal gains and steady losses over time.

Day trading options will flag you as PDT as well. Only futures get away with it.

RIMM - earnings this Thursday - Dec 16

That's NOT the point. Call premium ahead of earnings is such that playing that game is not profitable in the long run as premium evaporates the morning after, unless you get a huge move, not a good percentage bet. If you are bullish on RIMM, then sell puts. Again, SELL vol, don't buy it.

RIMM - earnings this Thursday - Dec 16

buying calls the day before earnings is not a long term successful strategy.

    IB TWS Old Version Available

The workaround so far for me has been to create a buy or sell button and check instantaneous. Then I exit with the close position (instantaneous). I realize this creates market orders, but for scalpers, it is faster than the confirmation. If I do put in a limit with mouse, I only deal with the...

    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

When nq drops the overnight lows, expect es to do the same, so we could see 1193 before the day is over. That's why buying has been muted with no follow through.
