i think the truth is... most people aren't for trading. but, if you really love it... and you spend many hours... i don't see why you have to be a 'mozart' to be a successful trader. imo, you can be more of a rainman... and go into somebody's house to take their money... without all the hype...

let me give a closer-related stock which you forgot to mention. GOOG kept rising to 730ish (now at 545) despite many that kept trying to short it... not saying this exact same scenario will happen with AAPL. it's fair to say it is not completely guaranteed the bulls with AAPL will not keep...

One more week to go.... you've been wrong about one thing. as silly as the ipad sounds... it's been a hot item. as much as i've been trying to resist being part of the 'apple community'... i am not sure about other gadgets currently in demand. imo... the android has been disappointing thus far...

It's hard to target AAPL since it's being traded to all time highs. However, many analysts have upped their outlook on AAPL yesterday to buy ranging from 315-325. Could it get there??? Possibly. imo... I think it'll rally to 310... since that's another 50% gain today... of the rally...

Unless some terrible news comes out about AAPL, which I don't think will happen anytime soon... there are probably better stocks to short. Think about quickly ipads sold the first day... upbeat earnings... everything is good in Apple land right now.

new highs doesn't mean anything for AAPL... as all you hear about is... iphone this... and ipad that... my gut for AAPL is to keep making new highs for a while
