Ha, thank you for your concern. I use TeleTrader services for my forex trading, I do not trade stocks/etfs often. I do not want another service I wont use. USO was listed in 2006 as another poster stated, that is what I was interested in.

How come when I look at all these ETFs, the chart only goes back say, 3 months, 6 months? Do they just not offer charting records going back that far (the brokers?), or do the funds somehow get renamed and or reset? For instance, I have just recently started trading USO, my broker only...

Is there a way to be flexible with ones futures contracts? I want to be able to enter a specified $ amount, not pay such and such for a contract. Is there a way to do this? Or perhaps there are stocks that represent specifically the Nasdaq, Dow, SAP etc.

Go with Oanda. They only offer 50:1 leverage but you can trade 0.01c and +. It will give you smaller dollar amounts to gain confidence with. They are probably just about the best Market Maker out there. Use AccuCharts or North Finance demo to get MetaTrader charts.

Yes, I agree. Some brokers give the Level II out free if you trade enough. I was just curious if IB did the same. Thanks everyone, I learned all that I wanted to and then some. Will go with IB for now.
