Thanks for the info. Paintbars within QT is rather limited. I am looking to implement a much more complex system, hopefully using QT's API and send orders to IB. I have looked into samples on QT's site but these are minimal samples...was hoping to find a more comprehensive sample.

you could create a Button in IB to close ALL positions. If you use eSignal then it can be programmed via EFS and IB plugin.

has anyone accomplished this? I am looking for a platform/system that would allow you to trade with IB via quotetracker's API with trading rules programmed in Java/C++/C#. Any idea would be great. Thanks.

Completely agree with eSignal's datafeed problem when volume is heavy... If quotetracker has some sort of script language like EFS, esignal will be out of business...anything out there that uses another datafeed but has charting and script language (other than TS and neotick)? thanks.
