trend2009, I also saw this last Fri, 1 Nov, and now this morning 09h00 CST. This is very unusual in my experience w/ IB. SH is an alternative, but not so good if you do a lot of annotation of intraday SPY charts, use ChartTrader, and want to look at the same intraday chart for longs and shorts...

Thanks, I'm familiar w/ that config and confirm it's correct by running TWS menu cmd Help/Guides and Documentation/Online User's Guide which brings up the page in Chrome, to which that config has been set a long time.
