    IB Options Quantity

Thank you sir Equity options are a new realm to me. The multiplier is 100 so I am all set buying say 5 contracts for 500 shares. On another note, when viewing the option chain, the price for the strike i want to purchase keeps changing, why cannot I not submit my order? (I get the can't...

    IB Options Quantity

The pit I am familiar with and spend a good chunk of my days 1 contract means 1 contract. I am not sure you should be posting when you don't know who is on the other side of things. None the less, thanks for the info.

    IB Options Quantity

I want to buy 100 call options, is this entered in the quantity as "1" or "100". I just want "the right to buy 100 shares", but the default came up as 1 in the quantity so I dont know if that means 100 or just 1 share. Thanks

    Questions on Trading ZN

So you do not reccomend trading the ZN with technicals? I have been backtesting some signals for the past couple months or so and I have found there to be decent trends with good signals being generated. I like the ZN because it does not move at a lightening pace and has very good volume.

Have a look at that pit just after 11am and you will have an idea what a fire drill looks like. Your comments are incorrect.

    tryin to buy an nsx

I think it is so funny to listen to people looking at those useless boards above Roulette wheels and say "ohhh look, 5 reds in a row, its gonna be black this time, it has to be, the ODDS are against it not being black". Like the god damn ball remembers if it was black or red last time, give...

    tryin to buy an nsx

My only advice to you would be to use Interactive Brokers to keep your comissions nice and low. I do not trade options with them so i am not up to speed on comissions for them, but I would imagine they would be much cheaper than Fidelity.

    tryin to buy an nsx

BUND >> looking for a simple intraday system

You are best to not even ask any questions here because you will 95% of the time get a useless answer by someone who has never even heard of a Bund, Bobl, or any other German debt instrument for that matter.

China - Main index touching 8 year lows, is this the moment to enter?

Exactly. For all of you who have not read it, I reccomend reading "Mr. China", and then let me know if you are willing to put up any money behind any Chinese company. Sure some of them may be great, but I certainly am in no rush to dish out cash as an "investment", pleanty of great investment...

If you just read Natenberg once (or five times) I would suggest reading it about a dozen more times.

    Front ends why?

I can't stand the TWS front end, i have not had issues with data or executions but the front end is terrible, I find book trader much better to work with than the data pages, but I still do not like TWS all that much. That keyboard looks like a real POS by the way.

    News Feed

Has anyone found any RSS Feeds that are real time? I have set up Reuters and Bloomberg RSS feeds but will have to wait until the market day to see if numbers come out in real time on it or if they are delayed. I trade bonds mainly and need economic figures as they are released to act quickly...

    News Feed

I use IB right now and as far as I know they don't offer anything. I'm screwing around with some RSS feeds from Reuters and Bloomberg but i doubt they are updated in real time so it wont do me any good.

    News Feed

I have become quite spoiled down at Merc with the vast array of data service terminals (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc) and the DJ News Wires up on the big boards all day (except the DAX has been busted for a week now........) I want a good news feed that will provide me with the major headlines...
