2- Indicators do work for exactly what they're supposed to = they indicate, then it's up to the trader's discretion from there. Note, they are not called "decision makers" :) 4- I don't agree with that viewpoint but this is just my 2 cents. Now I don't want to open up a can of worms on this...

Futuresource (esignal) has everything you're looking for. DJ news, wsi weather, nymex, ice etc. It can get pricey when you add it up.

Thanks Murray. Something like this would make me feel better about investing time and money (mostly time though) in the product. Some real world usage scenarios for backtesting and live real time strategy simulation would be very nice.
