Thanks for the code Tums. I do appreciate your help. My regional time is set for EST. I dont mean that its charting 9:30 bar and labeling it 10:30 bar. I meant the first twelve bars on a five minute chart are missing. The chart starts at 10:30 eastern time. Online chat is still offline.:mad:

My list does not have anything called color bars. I guess thats why I cant find it.:) I did get the volume colorsworking. I have another problem too, my charts are starting at 10:30 instead of 9:30 and its not central time. Its just not printing the first hours bars. I have sessions set to RTH...

That would be nice. Tums, what is the name of the study that colors the bars please. Ive looked through them and I cannot figure out which one it is. This is the only charting software Ive ever seen that you couldnt use up and down colors on bars and volume.

Everything about trading is a compromise, imo. You have to be careful about looking for a trade. If you drop down far enough in either volume or time charts you will find pullbacks in a trend but chances are you will get stopped out far to often to be profitable.

I think Dell topped out and started rolling over when it started selling at Walmart.

fwiw I have found it helps to watch both time and volume charts. I look for entries off those swing highs and lows and sometimes it is much clearer on one chart over the other.

Why not start out trading 10 shares of some stock or etf?

I got a Westinghouse 22" widescreen on sale at Best Buy for 159 bucks a few weeks ago. I dont know how it would perform for gaming,or tv. etc. but for charting it works great. Hard to beat for the price. 1680x1050.

I do not trade every hh, hl, lh ll series as I have found when price moves back inside the daily range the odds go down, so I was basically done after the double top played out but it was a nice morning. Afternoon gyrations inside the range established in the morning are pretty random, imo...

Chalk up another killer day for the trend followers. Slight lull through lunch but we needed a rest.:)

Dont feel bad. 3 trades here and down commissions. One breakeven, one winner, one loser. Volatility has certainly dried up for the moment. I have a feeling it will be back before long.
