I have the same problem. I would be satisfied with a reliable trailing stop. I like Oanda, though as the execution and spreads are quite good. Hopefully they will get on the ball and add some stratagies.

GFT has some pretty nice charts which you can use off the demo. Quotetracker now can feed off EFXGroup data but there is no backfill so you have to keep your charts running around the clock to keep them up to date. Hopefully Quotetracker will hookup with a forex feed with backfill before too long.

What caused that little downdraft this morning? Shortly thereafter USD.JPY and AUD.USD also started moving down. Still trying to understand the relations between the pairs but it gets strange at times.

Will Meta4 work with Oanda? I have been looking at GFT and their platform is pretty nice. I like their charting but one trade I put on Friday (demo) cost me 8 pips in spread when the listed spread was 3 pips which I find worrisome. I will look at the others you mention. Thx.

I think he was being sarcastic. The smaller the timeframe the less useful are the indicators, imho.

Whose quotes are you watching? Normally quotes are posted in pairs, the ask and the bid and the difference between them is the spread. There are lots of free quote and chart services out there for currencies along with free demo trading. Try one of those for awhile and you will soon see how it...

Well I just learned something. I thought upload and download speeds on dsl were approximately the same but I just did a test here:http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?flash=1 and my download speed is 1514kbs and upload speed was 254kbs. Quite a difference.

I dont think Oanda does trailing stops but I have to say Im very pleased with the spreads Ive been getting. Quite often less than a pip.

I have found the ADX to be a very good filter for trend vs. nontrend.
