Procter and Gamble 2015 annual report for dividend yield needed.

Not sure what your problem is. Current Quarterly dividend is .67 a share. Quarterly dividend for 2015 was .663 a share. Price and dividend yield changes every day. 4 x .67 x 100 / 81.36 = 3.294%

TD Ameritrade/TOS closing down in Asia. Any ideas why?

Ha, Ha, Ha, how little you know. Want to trade onion futures? Well you can't because onion futures are illegal. The Onion Futures Act making onion futures illegal was passed on August 28, 1958 and is still the law.

    First Southwest Clearing Opinions

Very easy to confuse the two. Probably why they are using the Hilltop name for the combined firm.

What slippage is normal? Stats on my 4621 trades

Unless there is a structural bias in the traded instrument slippage should have a basic symmetry on entry and exits. Slippage ratios of 5:1 to 8:1 between entries and exits is not normal. More information is needed, such as a volatility measure before entries and exits.

What slippage is normal? Stats on my 4621 trades

Something wrong with your methodology. The spread costs both ways, opening and closing should have symmetrical slippage.

$2000 Profit Off First Option Trade

Total WTF. How can people trade options without reading even basic information about the subject? "and I'm nowhere near the 195 strike level". SPY at 199 isn't close to 195? Enjoy your current $2K profit. It won't last if you keep trading like this.

Lowest Margin Rates For Small Cap Stocks

IB is well known for having the lowest margin interest rates, but there is no margin allowed for stocks with a capitalization below $250 million. IB's list of US special margin stocks currently numbers 10,838. Which brokers have low margin rates for small cap stocks for debit balances over...

Predicting Short Term Vs Long Term Moves

A very bad question as experience has shown me that no time frame is predictable. Most traders fail due to lacking an edge, excess leverage and poor money management.

Please Tell Me Someone Shorted BPT

Thanks for the BPT explanation. I had surmised that you had found this oddball royalty trust in an oddball way.

Please Tell Me Someone Shorted BPT

A 10% decline in a week isn't that big. BPT didn't even make the top 100 list for largest 5 day declines. Number 1 is SIXD down 55.65%. Number 100 is LIFE down 11.43%.

Please Tell Me Someone Shorted BPT

BPT is a rather obscure and lightly traded royalty trust. What made you notice it? PER is down 34% and SDT down 30% over the last 5 days.

    Newbie question re: backwardation/contango

Have you considered reading material on the basics of index futures before assuming things about them ? The stocks in the index pay dividends and longs of the index futures don't get those dividends. If you go long SPY you get to collect the index dividends and don't have to do a rollover...

FederalFundRate from 1950 / How about before 1950?

Why would you think that government interest rates would be high during a depression? T Bill yields went below zero in 1933. Here are interest rate charts back to 1919. http://www.newworldeconomics.com/archives/2014/012614.html
