the contracts the majors are now pushing for are a 365 (i think that's the right term), where they get a piece of EVERYTHING. used to be, the rigid terms were for album sales...now, they want a piece of everything - tour, ringtones, merchandise, etc.

a couple questions for you: i know you only trade these with futures; any reason you don't trade them with stocks? do you have different parameters based on time of day? i primarily trade stocks, and one of the reasons this thread piqued my interest is because i'm sometimes in a trade...

jerkstore - thanks for the very interesting posts. i think trading easier than poker to make a good living, if only because of scalability. i also prefer that in trading, if i'm on a great trade, i can take some off to lock it in. if i'm in a great position on the flop or turn, unless you...

he had a course through tradingmarkets, how i trade the eminis, from around 2002. i have the strategy involved somewhere around here - any idea if he still uses it?

nodoj - if that's your problem, maybe wait til the bar is *almost* complete? that is, for a 5 minute bar, wait til 4:45 or so, make sure it's confirmed, enter? just a thought. i'm discretionary, but i'm definitely NOT a machine. have emotions, and i can't completely suppress them even...

i better throw away the techniques which have helped me out then since i've been brainwashed. good to know, wish someone had told me years ago!

sorry, not all blogs are useless. i've gotten information, setups, etc. which have helped me over time.
