Amnesiac; looks like it may close that gap some more then move down or just move down - so my biased is down (but thats according to that chart and if thats a chart of something today and if the market is really strong it could change that bias). IMO

volente; nah I didnt short there ... I was sitting in AMD atm. I did get out of AMD when we hit that number on the YM thou. Funny thing is it popped up another .2 < no biggie thou; better to put a profit on your plate and look for re-entry.

NihabaAshi, Thats a good idea; instead of posting entries and exits real time; post end of day results. That way you dont have to 'worry' about posting here as you make trades and you can have a analysis of your trades too etc ... I think I'll do that.

here's a good example in the past 5 mins the ym jumped 60 points. Dont know if it was news related or not but; thats a tough move to catch. 2:13 time eastern~

Just another tool in the tool box porgie. Think about those traders that have 20 indicators up and trix/trin call volume etc etc. <<< I dont even know all of those else I would put more. And some of those peeps make good money. Whatever works for you.

here's a question ... how do you trade a breakout without getting taken? meaning since most of us YM traders are short term traders; usually a few RT a day so time period most likely the 15/5 or 2 min charts. If you wait for after the breakout ie you've usually missed most of the move on...
