I agree with you that Apple is far from the worst offender in this category, Sony and Microsoft are probably worse. Microsoft doesn't necessarily lock things up in a proprietary format they just take an existing format, change it a little bit, and then make all of their products default to it...

Look I don't want to start an argument with you apple fans because frankly no amount of reasoning seems to affect you but Apple has done it's share of proprietary formats too. AAC, appletalk, quicktime to name a few.

You're getting those fills because that is how the TOS papertrading simulator has been coded, you may or may not get those fills in real life. IB's simulator may have been coded to give you fills differently when your order is between the spread. It's really pretty silly to compare the fills...

Even if they don't cause viruses, the amount of resources these programs tie up makes them as bad as viruses, in my opinion.

X300 series does support dual monitors. Check the your cards output you may have only one VGA d-sub and one DVI output in which case you would need to use monitors with both inputs or one VGA input monitor and one DVI monitor or an adapter.

If you are talking about reloading the system completely (which I think you are) you should be fine. I've worked in IT departments where we literally re-image the machines dozens of times.

I've never had any problems getting paid out from bodog.com. I use them mainly for sports betting eventhough their vig can be pretty steep. They have poker and casino too. I am not affiliated with them in any way.
