The SEC wont hesitate to charge others too. Unfortunately Tuco has been hit, since obviously someone had an axe to grind and called the SEC complaining about Tuco. The SEC went to the court and filed a complain.
Hedge, rat,
I'm also affected by the whole Tuco story. But we just have to admit, that Tuco and many others clearly violated laws. It doesn't matter these rules make sense, or not. Unfortunately there is no way to get around this fact.
Hi,
I have an account with Lightspeed and trade with them thru a prop LLC.
Although I trade at a prop firm I do not meet the status of a pro trader. Nevertheless LS denies to charge non pro exchange fees and also charges for exchanges I did not subscribe.
Any ideas where to complain...
I guess many firms will try to find a way around the SEC rules after the Tuco story. The fee includes ongoing training for half a year and some further benefits.
As far as I know...
1) No
2) Yes, but you need to attend their training program which is 4500$
3) No idea!
4) Sterling. - They make money with Seminars, profit splits and commissions I guess. And they trade of course
They are honest guys and good traders.
Last couple days I mailed several firms. Only one firm did reply to my mail. I think most of the prop LLC's have gotten very cold feed after the Tuco story.
Hi guys,
what do you think is the most effective routing option on Lightspeed? Unfortunately LS doesn't offers an option that completely fits my needs. Any comment is more than welcome.
Much thanks in advance!

Please guys do some decent research before you come out with these kind of statements. Unless you have some hard and proven facts don't guess around here. It just gets no one any further.
