Def, How come the symbol NCI is registered by your system, but no quotes come up?

I just tried NCI and the system took it. However There was no quote. I don't know if this is because it is after hours.

There used to be a company called Tickertel where you could call and get a real time quote on any stock. It cost a few cents a call, but I found it very helpful when I am away. They seem to be gone now. Does anyone know of any other service like this? Thanks.

Remember that the eminis are all electronic, there is no pit or locals. To the extent that the smaller emini contracts and the larger pit contracts interact, there obviously is still a factor of pit locals playing a significant part, but as eminis continue to grow in volume (and dollar volume)...

The problem with Bloomberg it that it doesn't give you a blow by Blow. If the Fed has a surprise interest rate cut, it might be minutes before it is reported on Bloomberg.

Please keep in mind that NQ are futures on the NDX (Naz 100). COMP is the whole Naz index. While they ususally trade fairly well together, it is not exact. In fact there are times when the NDX is down, but the COMP may be up.
