Not sure about the chart trading but I can tell you how to do it in the DOM. The SPY is 1/10 the value of the ES. For example, divide the ES settlement price by the SPY closing price: 2619/261.5 = 10.015. So 1 ES point = 10 SPY Points. Since the ES has a .25 tick, for every tick the ES moves...

I will double down on the long or short side if I get an additional extreme buy/sell signal...or price goes to significant s/r. At this point obviously my first Trade was early, and if price went up/down too far I might take a break even stop on that first part. I won’t buy/sell a third time...

I think of a bubble as a price surge that may or may not sustain itself. Only time will tell whether this Bitcoin bubble is justified. The Nasdaq crash starting in April 1999 is a great example. The public was wiped out, anhilated, but prices are higher now. There might be wisdom in crowds...
