Does anybody here use the zen fire datafeed without mirus? Is that possible? I am thinking about using it as a datafeed for Multicharts. Thanks.

Is anybody here using the zen fire datafeed with Multicharts? And if so, how does it stack up compared to esignal? I have heard that esignal drops or swallows ticks, and that zen fire is more precise..... comments, anybody? Also, can I just get the zenfire datafeed and stay with IB for order...

I'm sorry if I ruffled some feathers here. I did not mean to say that your backtest is useless to everybody. It obviously is useful to you. I meant to say useless to anyone but you.:)

So you did use Spyder's code, but without the universe of stocks, because you were (for whatever reason) mistaken about the method, and therefore you backtest can be considered useless. Did I get this right?

One more thing: you claim that the screening was "added after-the-fact because they didn't like the results". Even a cursory reading of the countless postings of JH would show that this was around long before you did your backtest. Actually, if you are a young guy, I would guess that...

From what little I know of the method, I think the stocks being part of a screened universe is part of the method right from the beginning. Perhaps the paper that you had did not contain that information, but it is still part of the method. So- it seems you started from incomplete documentation...

No it does not. It seems to make your backtesting look bad, since the proponents of the method say you did not do it correctly.

My god. It seems that quite a few people here do NOT want to see clarifying information about PVT by Jack. One almost gets the feeling that they make huge efforts to stop Jack from showing clearly what the method consists of. Why would that be? Perhaps because to some it is threatening, or...

Ok- I still don't know what "Intel Quad Core Q6600 G0 SLACR @ 3.2GHz OverClock" means? The only 6600 processors that I find have 2.4 GHz (=does it mean it is a 2.4, which YOU overclock to 3.2?), and I can not find the SLACR type w/ the normal retail sources?

Thank you for the help. I will actually have another one built, as my ho computer. How do I get a hold of the SLACR chip? I can't see it in the online specs...?
