Guys are you mathematically challenged or what??? It would add approximately $200 round turn to the cost of trading A SINGLE Emini S&P contract. Emini S&P @ 800.00 x 50/pt = $40,000 x .25 = $100.00 per side. If you trade 10 lots, you pay $2000 for a round trip!

Absolutely correct. I was told by Joe Ross once that the whole thing was set up with several accounts, with the winners only showing in the official account. Joe said that the firm who organized the contest had offered to do the same for him :-)

If you use fixed Volume bar charts, with data going back over months (and years), Multicharts plots a chart where suddenly a month or 2 weeks are missing. Screws up the chart completely and makes it impossible to read clearly.

Multicharts was supposed to be a better Tradestation, basically TS without the attitude. I have been using the program since the beginning, but have about had it with the fact that they can not seem to fix a big problem: The sofware creates random data holes in longer term (Swing) volume bar...

????? I know not one but several people that have this problem... actually, at least one of them is in contact with Dennis Globa, who has aknowledged the problem to be a MC issue and is apparently working on it.

The biggest issues I have with Multicharts: 1. the data holes in the Swingcharts (with esignal). If you load a bunch of charts with indicators on them, you get days of data mssing. Big problem because it screws up all the charts. 2. Slow loading of these swingcharts. Reducing data etc...

Regarding the PVT, there was a summary of all the trades called and the result in the Spyder Equities Thread somewhere, i think at the end- go look for it. Also, somebody backtested it partially in the PVT Test thread, before the thread got out of control due to lack of/ incompetent moderating...

Now why would you possibly assume that anybody demonstrating a method FOR FREE on an internet forum somehow OWES you track records? Jack or Spyder are not your hedge fund managers. You are not paying them a commission or giving them your funds to manage. They offer you a method for free...

I used to have problems with NT (it seemed to hang and lag with Eurex), so I switched to Buttontrader. Much better front end IMHO, just great, never a problem. But now I am getting seriously tired of esignal, for datafeed issues... so I am looking at zenfire/ Mirus, problem is- Mirus does not...
