I really don't mind sharing what I'm doing. Since I believe the market is going to continue to decline, I am doing bear put spreads. Pretty simple stuff, but very profitable with minimal risk.

I agree with you , I am not aware of any spread that is riskfree. However, I do spreads that have limited risk with a large chance of maximum profitability. I wish I knew of ones that had no risk associated with them!!

I have never opened an options spread on two different underlying securities like you're suggesting. I really don't consider that a spread because the two securities might move in the wrong direction for you so the limited risk that you get with a traditional spread is lost in that case...

It sound like you are trading spreads on stocks. I trade spreads using options, and the risk is very small. If anyone else is doing this, let me know and we can compare strategies. Ron
