Getting down and dirty is where the rubber meets the road ...

Jack gave an example of how he fans across sequential internals here: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=195287&perpage=6&pagenumber=14 I agree, the net effect seems to be the same as fanning to the last internal but I suspect that it may not be as "simple" as that...

Not sure if TF1 and TF2 are on the same fractal level. I accelerated TF1 RTL from bar 81 to bar 7 but TF2 would have started on bar 9 and that was clearly incorrect. Not sure if I'm still in TF1 or we are building TF3. The continuing problem of knowing what fractal level one is on..... and...

ES 05/3 dashed containers - faster fractals black/red - trading fractals magenta / blue - slower fractals Several occasions where I was unsure whether or not I should be fanning the faster fractal rtl or drawing a Trading Fractal RTL (e.g. bars 30 to 34) or whether or not I had an...

I am confident that I understand the importance of the three nesting fractals. It is my inability to understand how you construct each of the three fractal levels that prevents me from drawing them in a consistent manner. My apologies for creating a distraction from k200.

I suspect that there is a fundamental misunderstanding or misinterpretation on my part of how or what you are defining as a "faster fractal" and a "trading fractal", how the faster fractal is constructed from the 10 cases and how the trading fractal is constructed from three faster fractals. :)

I presume that your comment regarding multicharts is a reference to me looking at the 15 min. I did this assuming that the criteria for drawing tapes should be valid regardless of timeframe. However, I will make no further use or reference to any timeframe other than the 5 min. Within the...

Building TF3. Multiple fanning through sequential internals. Are we simply fanning the rtl of the 1st dom faster fractal or are we going to p3 to create the TF RTL? The process of fanning does not seem to tell us.

Using the same principles on the 15 min chart suggests that TF6 RTL should be fanned out to bar 71 on the 5 min.
