+296 , was up 3k but blew it all by not getting out of a dumb trade. Disappointing day

I've held gold for a multi year trade , started selling when it hit 1k , and sold the rest of it today. I felt sort of sad but you need to know when to say good bye!

First P/L post, good thing it was a good day. +9813. Got smacked a bit trying to bottom feed on sugah , but ES was easy today.

I have fidelity for stocks, IB for other stuff, but both suck for charts, especially IB. Please give me recommendations for good charting services that are easy to set up. Cost isn't a huge issue, wiithin reason. Especially want someone with good historical charting.

Why are you posting here instead of being on the phone with them asking wtf is going on? I have some pretty big account sizes, and a smallish one (low 100k ish) at IB , and, at the places I have big accounts, a few barks can usally turn the representives on the phone into stammering yes men.

Such a shame how they destroyed Salomon Brothers and became the big dumb money on the street.

They have not been cutting since 2001, absolutely not. They cut alot in the 2001/2002 time period, and then have been hiring ever since. Look it up. The staff levels until very recently were almost as high as they were in 2000/2001.

I always had those types of meetings in bars or restaurants. I assume it involves a contract? Make sure you have a good contract lawyer who is familiar with the business look it over before you sign it . Don't sign anything the same day as the meeting.

I was under the impression that Zell unloaded most of his real estate to Blackstone at the top. At least his commercial real estate.
