    Opening Orders - 2008

I don't know about Sterling, but i can tell you that, ironically, the free nyse.com quote you get by going to the site and looking at opening price for a symbol is not reliable. Yahoo.com is not reliable either for nyse opening prices. I invite anyone to suggest reliable places to get nyse...

where can I find what the total volume of the MOC was?

Usually you can expect the MOC volume to be proportional to the average daily volume. For specific MOC volume figures on NASDAQ stocks, try: http://emi.nasdaq.com/displayfileInline.aspx?file=50&type=index&source=home&tab=openclose

LOO does not make any sense

This may come as a surprise, and i know it sounds strange, but the opening prices for NYSE stocks that are displayed on the NYSE website link you quoted are not generally accurate. So the prices you got filled at are probably the true opening prices...

Order executed over 4 minutes after close!

Go to "View->Audit Trail" in TWS, find the order in question, and make note of the order ID number, then search for all entries in the Audit Trail with the same order ID number. This should give you more info on what exactly happened to the order, when cancellation was acknowledged etc.

Stop orders in Excel (Genesis Laser)

Sorry guys...You have to select "Stop" not "AUTO" under the "Route" drop-down menu in the level 2 window. The stop orders will be placed on the "AUTO" route (thats what you will see as the route in the Pending Orders window).. let me know if it works..

Stop orders in Excel (Genesis Laser)

I am not talking about the "AUTOROUTE" feature you referred to. I am referring to the "AUTO" route. In the level 2 window you have different routes, like ISLD, ARCA and there is also a route called "AUTO". If you select this route, you will be able to enter server-side stop orders

    Yes, Joab, exactly.

Stop orders in Excel (Genesis Laser)

I have not tried the new "OMS" module, but are you guys aware that Laser has had server-side stops for a while now? Select "AUTO" route in Level 2 window and you should be able to enter server-side stop orders normally

Stop orders in Excel (Genesis Laser)

Interesting, how are you attempting to enter them Joab?
  19. G

Stop orders in Excel (Genesis Laser)

They have had server-side stops for a while now via the AUTO route.
