    lean hogs VS live cattles

i traded hogs and cattle a limited time using spreads, but the fill time for my orders killed the appetite for me... if you're new to futures trading I would seriously recommend something that's electronic (hogs and cattle are also electronic but the volume is very low still)

Any work for a recent college grad?

I was a cpa for pwc for 3 years...if you are not interesting in accounting or don't want to become a controller down the line don't bother since accounting doesn't interest me the only positive thing it gave me is to have pwc on my resume, but it was a lot of work for that alone!

    money how much

if you are serious, then your only bet is to trade forex since most forex brokers allow very small position sizing, you can practice relative proper money management with your 1,000 and learn the ropes that way. Granted you won't make a living out of it, but learn small first and then scale.
