Globex options : implied pricing ?

There are players out there replicating the implieds and I know the implied prices are generally tradable. There are a lot prices that can go into implied prices for options as you're dealing with much more than just calender spreads. This has to a ripe market with alot of potential.

S&P 500 Over Priced. PE Ratio is Now at 129

This is a silly way of interpreting PE. This is looking at actual earning which are irrelevant. I don't buy a stock to participate is its earnings from last year. Whomever owned it at that time participates in trailing earnings. I don't care what the company I own made last year. What will...

Why is no one talking about the S&P500 P/E ratio?

Equity prices, in particular equity futures, are forward look looking. What's the point of buying a company for what they made last year? You don't own the company yet so you don't participate in the profits. If I'm going to buy a company, I want to know what the earning potential is. What...

Why is no one talking about the S&P500 P/E ratio?

Landis is pointing you in the right direct. PE based off trailing earning is of little value. PE based off forward earning is a better gauge of value.
