I use autospreader for scalping as well postion trades. spreads have a higher probability of 'reverting to the mean' than outrights do. look at the correlations of es/er2, ym/es...zb/zn, zn/zf...fx works too to some extent...6b/6e...even 6j/6e but that can be a wild ride.

I do alot of spread trading...it's how i learned the business 15 years ago. very beneficial for beginners as they're hedged all the time and they learn to watch multiple markets at one time. look for an app that drives / manages spread trading like Autospreader offered by TT...

try www.zacks.com i've used their zacks rank for years with great returns. they monitor analysts estimate revisions...you don't hav to do the research this way...analsts due it for you.

i've been real happy with XS. it's the first charting package TT has put out and I understand they have big plans for it. i dont know what.

I'm not sure what version of XT glabal distibutes. Ask them for 7x and you'll get X_Study, TT's charting platform.

OK. Not sure if Yahoo uses Zacks for estimates...it says somewhere. Just found it...thompson (first call) supplies estimates (look at fine print at bottom of a yahoo quote page). zacks will vary on estimates due to the fact they use a different pool of analyst....both use the majors then...

I'm pretty sure yahoo gets alot of their earning info from zacks...estimate data at least. there are alot of useful tools on the zacks page if you tool around. i think you can sign up for a lot of free email services...one of which is the earning calendar for the upcoming week.

I didn't trade emini's today but kept a casual eye on them (focused on E6 today) ...didn't notice any trouble but you might want to check with your clearing firm to see if there was trouble on their end.
