    Larry Williams/COT Reports

They were net short throughout the second half of 2006 during the massive bull run. What makes you think them being mildly net long now is of any relevance?

What's a diamond formation top (supposedly in the S&P right now)?

Yes thanks, I have access to google too. I thought we could get a discussion going. The current daily S&P chart doesn't seem to fit well into the definition they give. I can't make a diamond out of it. Maybe the analyst was talking out of his backside. Potential double top, yes. Diamond, no.

Buy today just before the close, or wait until Monday?

When was the last time we went down in an FOMC week?

What's a diamond formation top (supposedly in the S&P right now)?

Today's close supposedly confirmed a diamond formation top in the S&P according to some Bloomberg analyst. I always thought the diamond formation was a variation of the old 4-4-2 in football (soccer) and I've never come across it before in my technical analysis reading. Anyone care to post a...

Cnbc And Cramer Have Gone Too Far

Why are people so obsessed with this Cramer guy? I've never watched CNBC but you guys remind me of those "disgusted" viewers who watch late night porn and complain about all the FILTH on TV. Just don't watch it if you don't like it.

I feel your pain... :D Let me guess, you didn't use a stop, closed the position at the bottom and now you're cursing yourself because you would now be in profit. Like you said, "trading sucks!" :D

    Stocks going through the floor

The week after June's triple witching day has been down in 13 of the past 15 years. Seasonal tendencies are all going according to plan this year so expect it to continue.

How to do rollover for NQ in Interactive Brokers

Thanks a lot, I have it set up now. Incidently, what happens if I leave a YM position open until it expires? Is it closed at the Friday settlement price?

How to do rollover for NQ in Interactive Brokers

Thanks. Is there a way to do the same with YM? I don't get the calendar spread option, just futures spread.

How to do rollover for NQ in Interactive Brokers

Me too. The box that pops up has three different tabs with multiple options. Can anyone give us a brief "idiots guide"? Rollover your position in 3 easy steps sort of thing. Please no jargon-filled stream of consciousness... :D

    Legalised crooks

You can't compare an fx bucketshop with a futures broker. FXCM are on the other side of your trade so they benefit if you lose. Global Futures are just a broker who send your order to Globex and take a commission. How do they benefit if you lose?

    Legalised crooks

Maybe they don't have a good feed (I've no idea because I've never used them) but how would they benefit from this? Orders would be sent straight to Globex. All the broker takes is the commission. It should be obvious to you when prices are not updating on the DOM. It sounds like a newbie...

Nice trade my friend. Just a good bread and better fib pullback play.

At least it's a gradual selloff

Still a little fools' rally coming before the big fall?

If 5% 10-year yields are so bad for stocks, why did FTSE rally for so long?

Expectations for the UK also flipped from interest rate cuts to interest rate rises without too much damage although I agree the expectations/actual game comes into play. In reality it's just the excuse for the market to rally then fall, not a valid fundamental reason.

If 5% 10-year yields are so bad for stocks, why did FTSE rally for so long?

FTSE has been rallying with interest rates over 5% and rising. Why are 5% yields on the US 10 year so bad for US stocks?

    Buying Sep YM 13780

LOL! This is one of those great calls that we should keep active as long as the market keeps falling. I can almost feel the pain... :p
