    Symantec

IMHO: The quality of their software is pretty. Not a lot of companies that has been dumped from Nasdaq 100 can rejoin the index. SYMC is one of them. :p :p :p

    hedge fund blow up !

IMHO: People have short memories. Ego always wins. The collapse of two famous hedge funds: LTCM and D. E. Shaw in late 1998 are much bigger warning signs than this. :( :( :(

    Dell is full of it.

This is correct. If a movie from a mini DV tape is captured into a computer, every hour takes about 13 GB of disk space. When performing digital editing, the temporary files and preview files may take up as much disk space as the original movie. That translates to about 26 GB per hour of...

    Dell is full of it.

You are lucky. Although they claimed that there was a 14-day money back guaranteed, I had to complain to the State Attorney General in order to return the PC and software to them. The whole returning process takes over two months.

I miss the good old time too: The stock price of BRCM went up four times in five months. QCOM went up over twenty times in one year. CSCO split four times in 28 months. :p :p :p

    PhD without the guts

Not all physics Ph. D. do a lot of programming at the graduate schools. Even if they do, they may just use C instead of C++.
