    I have a serious problem: I don't take a loss

Yes, it does, and, yes, you need to read more than just wikipedia.

    I have a serious problem: I don't take a loss

Pride goes before a fall, and loss aversion tends to follow profitable periods and winning streaks, both of which can help create a big head. Losing is a necessary part of winning: if one is not willing to lose, then in the long run one cannot win.

Sometime this weekend, I'll try to post my list of systems I already own. Those who want to sell their own or trade can just PM me. I have a particular interest in S&P systems.

    shorting natural gas futures

If you are doing a spread (long one, short another), yes, 10-20 is plenty. If you are doing an outright speculation by going short October, 10-20 thousand would be enough, but the potential drawdown would be too much for me.

    Trading with a netbook?

Son, it's a simple question. If you don't know, or don't care, don't answer. Please, keep the smartass counterquestions to yourself. :)

    Babcock/Freeburg trading systems?

Does anyone have any old Bruce Babcock or Nelson Freeburg trading systems that they would be interested in selling/trading? I am not really a mechanical trading system kind of guy, but I have always found them useful in sparking ideas. Thanks.

    Trading with a netbook?

That's basically my question. Theoretically one may be able to load software, but I am wondering if anyone has been able to actually trade without problems.

107 point +stop for a 56 point + profit. If stops are no more than 2% of TLNW, then this trade added about 1% to the pile of chips. In futures trading, a business of losers, 1% profit is better than most. :)

    Bobby Jr. On Vaccines

I admire Eunice Shriver Kennedy and Senator Ted Kennedy for their work on helping people with disabilities, but there is no link between vaccines and autism. The science is clear.

No way Obama wins a second term

If (when) the economy turns around, Obama will cruise, like Reagan did in 1984. The Democrats will probably lose some US House seats as well as some governors races in 2010, though. In the long term, demographically, the Democrats look strong. The GOP, on the other hand, has rapidly...

Atheism is the absolute denial of the absolute

Christianity is verifiably a false religion. The creation story in Genesis absolutely did not happen. No Adam and Eve = no original sin= no need for a Messiah. Those who devote their entire lives to full-time Christian service--what a waste of time.
