Has anyone tried to borrow from a box spread with Schwab?

It's important to set the boxes as last to be liquidated. Though this is not guaranteed by IB's auto-liquidation algorithm.

Has anyone tried to borrow from a box spread with Schwab?

Having several bad experience with Schwab, I am not positive if Schwab would let you trade better on a box than with IBKR. More expensive is a likely yes. I would think that you should not have the exact same but opposite legs on two boxes in your account. They may cancel each other and cause...

Has anyone tried to borrow from a box spread with Schwab?

First, you need to convert your IBKR account to Portfolio Margin. You need to put much more than the minimum $100K equity requirement. On IBKR mobile app's watchlist look for SPX. Click Options. Scroll to desired date you wish for the tenor of the loan (the longest for now being Dec 14, 2023)...

Box Spreads work well in IBKR. Robinhood banned it. Selling Box Spreads on Eurostoxx50 even pays you to borrow Euro.

TradeStation Global in UK which runs on IBKR platform suits best your needs. Broker diversification?

Really, you don't have to worry putting all your $3millions in one brokerage as your non-margined assets are fully segregated, away from co-mingling with the brokerages' own assets. Many ultra high networth persons and hedge funds with billion dollars asset use a single brokerage as it is easier...

Do institutional EM bond investors hedge currency risk somehow?

Yes, they do. Through hedges in a similarly moving currency against the USD. Say you invest in IDR government bonds which offer attractive yields, you can hedge through AUDUSD forwards to curb the movement of USD against IDR, as AUDUSD forwards is cheaper than USDIDR one. It is not a perfect...
