The market "should be at" wherever supply and demand dictates. That's how the market works. People saw a good buying opportunity this morning (myself included, and I'm not part of the PPT believe it or not). If the market now turns around and goes south the "PPT" will have failed yet again.

The market was strong yesterday. Jobs data is a lagging indicator that fluctuates a lot. Doesn't seem strange to me. If there was any manipulation here it was the "over-reaction" to the downside at the open.

Without the PPT the DOW would be at 5000, the SP at 475 or so, and the Nazz at about 850 If you can know things like that you must be very very rich.

I didn't see any panic today. Put/call was pretty low, volume somewhat high but not panic level. Jeff
