Thanks all. Glad to know I'm not the only guy who shops around for ways to get money on cash nowadays.

    CITI offer. Legit?

I see that CITI is offering $1,500 to drop $200,000K in a checking account (yes a checking account) for 60 days and then you can transfer out. Off the top of my head that's like 3.5% annualized, no? Anyone have any experience doing this with them? I ask only because I have found some of these...

Brokers Who Can Find Hard to Find Stocks to Short

Ok, if I wanted to give Lightspeed a try, pay a small commission, and just test shorting some UVXY with real money, what is the minimum I need to do this for a while? 15K? Or would the nature of the beast, in this case, require more to meet internal margin requirements, although I partially...

When buying a LEAPS put in September ....

How deep ITM or ATM or even OTM should a LEAPS put be, if I plan to buy one, hold until expiration and assign it? I'm thinking UVXY, in case you're wondering.

Brokers Who Can Find Hard to Find Stocks to Short

I'm one of those guys who shorts UVXY (please no critiques in this thread). I used IB for this trade until I got tired of them not having any shares on hand or even calling my shares back. Then I tried Schwab and I was pleasantly surprised how I was rarely turned down when I wanted to short some...

Do CTAs ever trade ETPs linked to futures?

If so, do they also need to be RIAs? I'm thinking specifically of UVXY, btw.

    Yield Street

Seems to be offering a $500 promotion (if you're accredited) for a $10,000deposit for 90 days, which ain't a bad rate for parked cash, plus whatever else you might earn on short-term money. Anyone do business with them? Legit? Caveats?

    Transfering a Solo 401k - not a SEPIRA

Anyone offer bonuses for transferring a plan, or is that just a regular brokerage/checking/savings thing?

    Transfering a Solo 401k - not a SEPIRA

Ok, I have this Solo 401k at TOS and I was wondering if any brokers out there are offering a promotion to transfer it their wirehouse. Not interested at the moment in converting to an IRA.

Alarm Clock or Alexa to wake up with the Futures

thanks for the offer, but I'll shop around a little bit longer, I think

Alarm Clock or Alexa to wake up with the Futures

Will it also tell me where the futures are trading at, or is it just a wake up call. When I went to the site, I couldn't figure out if it does that. I'd also prefer a live human voice to a automated one, too, I think.

Alarm Clock or Alexa to wake up with the Futures

I also wonder if there are services that do this, like some answering services that use human to take the calls.

    Muni CEF s

If I buy and sell a muni closed-end fund (lets say a CA one, as that's where I live) for a slight profit, in a matter of days, is my short term gain taxable?

Alarm Clock or Alexa to wake up with the Futures

I'm curious if there is an audio tool out there that besides being an alarm clock would tell me the S&P futures, either visually or with a voice. Perhaps some sexy voice that woke me up with "Good morning, Jim. It's five thirty and S&P futures are up 12."
