Or B&E... Bartman, move in time to the rhythm of the Market? IOW, no bias, just take your cue from the PA and anticipate & act accordingly... In simple terms... Trend day = WRB Range day = NRB I've had a long hard think about how, where and why I've lost money, not banked open...

XX, just done it again on EUR/USD, picked the LIKELY top to within 2 points, I know it ain't a good way to trade, but SO FAR I'm getting rewarded for such bad behaviour. It's sold off pretty good SO FAR and broken intraday trendline support. It's currently hovering just above the 23.6 fibo of...

It appears that spike was the top. The market has broken 100 points down, however not before my short was shaken out, as I've said, my biggest bugbear is exits. So we've talked about BOBs, NRBs & WRBs, or breakouts on volatility expansion. Surely you would need to tailor your strategy for...

I must say that I'd agree with you on that, it's basically trading against the trend. The decision to take that particular trade was based on the usual price behaviour in that particular market. I still have part of the position on, although it has retraced somewhat.

DT, an example of those currency spikes I was talking about, this one occurred about an hour ago on AUD/USD. I'm short from about halfway through the spike, I'm not saying that I've definitely found the top, but it's a reasonable probability play and the risk:reward is excellent.

Question to Blotto, if you're such a great successful trader, who by your own words considers himself to be superior to everyone else, why are you going round insulting and anonymous strangers on an internet forum? Doesn't really add up now does it?:D

Oh contraire, you made the first aggressive post, you caught me in a bad mood and I've apologised for my response. However it is quite plain that you do not have the grace to accept that apology and instead persist with your snide comments. And it really beats me as to why you are acting like...

DT, how about watching the volume just prior to the breakout and comparing it to the volume seen at the last test of that level? Also stops are usually located a little way past the breakout level. Excellent point mind. PS. On major currency pairs, stop hunting spikes will usually go 10 to 20...
